Education is the most important step in understanding human trafficking. In order to end it, we need to understand how to prevent it, what it actually looks like in our communities, and what steps we can take to do more.

If you are going to grab a spot to watch Sound of Freedom – it is important to remember that this is one story in a collection of millions and this story is not the whole story. 

The recent wildfires in Alberta, and the resulting evacuation of numerous Alberta communities, are raising alarm bells for anti-trafficking and victim services organizations across the province.

Every year, the U.S. Department of State produces a report on Trafficking in Persons. The report aims to engage and inform foreign governments about human trafficking, as well as spread awareness on the prevalence of the issue.

Our team is made up of social workers, educators, fundraisers, and human rights advocates. We work tirelessly to assist victims and survivors of human trafficking, educate our communities, and discover and create new opportunities to advance the anti-human trafficking movement.
